In late May, we decided to have a "cooking day" (morning) instead of our usual study.
Baobao (from Ningbo, China) and her boyfriend, Renbo (from Harbin, China), taught us how to make traditional Chinese dumplings with pork filling. Christina (from Singapore), taught us how to make bak kut teh (spare rib tea or actually soup, that is served with tea or at teatime, not sure which). Bak kut teh is a Singaporean or Malaysian dish (depending on who you ask). Ellie (from Macau) had a cousin visiting from the Philippines, and she made us a mango and graham cracker dessert that was so yummy.
