Jazz Dance

Well I started my 16-week "jazz dance" class tonight with Miranda and Natasha.  I wasn't sure what to expect from "jazz dance" and imagined something along the lines of cheer-leading squad.  It turns out that jazz dance is actually hip hop, so now I feel like Napoleon in the dance scene from Napoleon Dynamite.  Even though I lack coordination and couldn't understand anything that was being said, I think I followed along pretty well and even enjoyed myself.  Here's the song with the dance moves that we're learning.  I think we covered the first 15 seconds in class tonight.
