New Campus

My daily commute, in photos:

The view from my upstairs window.  8:00 - 9:00 is the rush hour, when students are going to school and everyone's going to work.

I walk through this park on my way to the bus stop.  This is a bonsai tree that sits next to the "foot massage" - the stone walkway.  People walk on it in bare or stocking feet and the stones hit pressure points.  It hurts, but you will feel incredibly relaxed afterwards.

You can't tell from the photos, but it was a cold, windy morning.

Waiting at the campus bus stop for the bus to return home.  This is the waterway that separates Hengqin Island from Macau.  The bus goes through an underwater tunnel so that I don't have to go through customs everyday.  Macau now "rents" the campus from Mainland China, and the campus is walled off from the Mainland.

My apartment is behind the Galaxy Casino, which you can see as the gold towers in the distance.  It only takes about 12 minutes to get there by bus.  Then I walk home again from the park.
