I took a short trip to Zhuhai in order to visit with Chris Li. He flew down from Beijing and I basically walked to Zhuhai. It is just over the border that Macau shares with mainland China. And while the border gate is about 25 minutes' walk from my apartment, going through customs took 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Chris and I had a lazy few days. We visited his alma mater, Sun Yat-Sen University, and walked by the sea. We ate hot pot and dim sum. We shopped at sidewalk vendors and took evening strolls through the city. It was a nice way to relax back into China.
