Fall is in the Air

Fall in Macau is subtle.  There are no changes to the color of leaves...no bonfires (other than those to burn money for ghosts)...no football games.  But today the air is cooler and it is less humid.  There is a clearness in the air that wasn't there before.

I feel homesick this time of year for the colors of the north GA mountains and for helping Dad get firewood.  But I also enjoy seeing the changes here, on the other side of the world.  And I remind myself:  fall is one step closer to winter...and December is in the winter...and I'll be home in December.

Wrap up some fall and save it for me, ok? :)
